A leading London M&E engineering contractor is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to base on site local to Woolwich to work deliver installs and clash-free solutions to a nearby rail station upgrade project.

The Company

This engineering practice is a leader in London who provides rail design solutions and builds them and in particular works with London underground, Network Rail and Crossrail. They have been at the forefront of delivering underground tunnelling solutions along with track side and stations side upgrades and new build solutions. They are one of the largest contractors in the south east and are expanding their teams, specific to station upgrades.

The Role

You will be affluent design engineer who has previously worked with engineer consultants for at least 5 years. Being chartered would be advantageous but rail experience is not essential. You will be reviewing designs instead of developing them and will be coordinating on site with the project manager to ensure the design solutions work on site, resolve any clashes, and ensure the delivery of Mechanical HVAC services.
