An international award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy are looking to hire a Director who can lead, build, and grow their MEP Design consultancy division.
You will be joining an internationally recognised multi-disciplinary consultancy who have won multiple awards, are champions of diversity, have their own in-house L&D team, and encourage internal promotions through to Partner level. You will be joining a team who works collaboratively across all disciplines allowing for lots of internal referrals and clients to help multiply business development revenue streams. The MEP arm of the business already has an established team with many engineers who joined as graduates and trainees and are now senior engineers (an extremely low staff turnover).
You will assume a “Head of Building Services Engineering” role where you will be taking control of the growth of the division. You will have experience recognise new avenues to generate new business, and maximising client spend. Additionally, you will have experience in workforce planning. Please note that the current workload, despite the COVID recession, warrants growth in the building services consultancy division. However, this has been left for you to take care of. You will ideally have experience growing a team. You will be supported by an established team of associates, seniors, intermediates, and juniors many of which are chartered. It would be advantageous if you can support the design delivery however, this is not essential because it would be a rare need when you need to because of the established and very competent design engineering team. The growth opportunities you recognise are not limited by anyway – if you feel starting up a new office in a remote location is the best way, then that’s what will happen.
