The Position

As a Principal Electrical Design Engineer, your role will include:

Attending client meetings
Producing all electrical design calculations and be conversant in Amtech,
Dialux, and Relux
Producing designs in CAD and REVIT
Being able to present designs for stage / peer review
Undertaking condition surveys
Undertaking third party review of designs
Attending and manage contracts from inception to completion
Having experience across a wide range of sectors

The team in Reading is well established and successful with a wide range of
exciting projects ranging from

Theatres and Auditoria
High Rise Apartments
Prime Residential one-off Houses
CAT A and B fit out
Peer review for £100m+ projects
Defence and Security projects
Healthcare
Retail
Oversees works

Currently they are working on 11 individual sites in Africa with additional projects
in Serbia. Whilst travel is not essential, they are able to offer oversees travel if of
interest.

Experience and Skills Required

To be successful in this role you will have an accredited Building Services
degree or higher educational qualification and experience in a similar role.
Ideally chartered or working towards chartered engineer status with a
suitable institution.
You will need to be an excellent communicator who can articulate
complicated issues between clients and highly skilled project teams.
You will also need to show a willingness to learn whilst demonstrating a
high level of diligence and organizational skills.
