The Company

Originally founded in 1988, this practice includes Building Services Consultants and Lead Consultants and they offer a range of services on new build and refurbishment projects.

The company operates in most industry sectors but principally in the commercial, healthcare, residential care, education, defence, industrial and retail sectors. They have a diverse client base and have an extensive range of project experience from small refurbishments and plant replacements to large new build schemes.

The practice employs qualified and experienced staff and places a high importance on health and safety, training and Continued Professional Development. They also employ CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants and Energy Assessors who can offer early advice, calculations, and reports on compliance with meeting Planning requirements and Building Regulations Part L2A or L2B or Corporate compliance with carbon targets. Many of their individual staff also hold CIBSE, IEE, and Engineering Council registration.

The Position

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll support the Director to lead projects, support Juniors / Graduates, as well as remaining on the technical side.

As a member of the team, you’ll work on Leisure, Healthcare, and very rare defense projects for a range of clients, that offer technical challenges.

In addition to this, this Consultancy will offer a clear path of progression upwards, including a path to Associate Engineer.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

·        Proven experience in a senior engineering role.

·        Strong technical skills in mechanical design and analysis.

·        Excellent project management and leadership abilities.

·        Effective communication and teamwork skills.
