This is an employee-owned structural and civil engineering practice with a

2007, the practice now has over 160 staff members and works with many of the
UK’s leading developers and architects.

Sustainability has always been integral to their design approach and decision
making. They believe that it’s their responsibility to reduce the amount of carbon
used in their designs – from the materials they specify and the construction
methods they recommend to how they design for the future.

The Position

They are currently looking for a technically strong, creative, and passionate civil
engineer with experience in managing others to join their team. Working within a
supportive and welcoming team, the role will require you to produce efficient,
high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a
wide range of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, and looking
to take on responsibility.

The ideal candidate:

Minimum 5 years experience;
Chartered, or near Chartered with ICE
Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
Experience in developing SuDS strategies for major developments;
Detailed design of below-ground drainage networks, including SuDS
elements, for buildings, highways, and the public realm;
Highway, pavement design, and ground modeling experience is beneficial
but not essential;
Experience in design for flood mitigation including developing sites in
Flood Zone 3 is beneficial but not essential;
Knowledge of design software such as WinDes (Microdrainage), Civil 3D,
and the use of BIM;
Experience in managing a small team

Oh and did we mention that this company hosts ANNUAL TRIPS? Last year’s trip
