The Position

They are currently looking for a technically strong, creative, and passionate
Senior Structural Engineer to join their team. Working within a supportive and
welcoming team, the role will require you to produce efficient, high-quality
technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range
of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, and looking to take on
responsibility.

Ideal attributes and qualifications:

5 to 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience
A confident communicator, able to explain engineering concepts clearly
and simply
Passionate about continuous learning and technical excellence
Has a strong interest in architecture and the relationship between
structural engineering and architectural design
Is committed to sustainability and reducing embodied carbon through
design
Enjoys engineering and passing on their knowledge through mentoring
younger engineers
Is near chartered or is a chartered member of the IStructE or ICE (or other
relevant institution)
Has the ability to design and deliver structural solutions on complex
projects.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage time,
resources, costs, and communication within and outside the Practice.
