They are seeking a fully experienced Principal Mechanical Engineer with the
ability to inspire others. You will have a minimum of seven years of industry
experience with the ability to run medium to large-sized projects and undertake a
client-facing role in the development, design, and co-ordination of engineering
Main duties include but are not limited to:
Run large projects, leading the development, design, and coordination of
Mechanical engineering project services across diverse building types.
Develop applications of controls, instruments, and systems for building
Conduct surveys, tests, and dilapidation reports on existing mechanical
Ensure manufacturing, construction, and installation align with
specifications and requirements.
Liaise directly with clients, provide advice, and represent the company in
Lead coordination of engineering services and make day-to-day project
Uphold engineering standards, industry regulations, and legal
Take a holistic approach to engineering concepts and solutions.
What you need:
BSc/BEng or equivalent in the relevant engineering discipline.
MCIBSE/MIEE or HNC/HND plus experience or equivalent.
Progressing towards Chartered Eng status.
Substantial specification design experience for multiple building types.
Strong grasp of Health and Safety issues and regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and IT-based calculation software.
Familiarity with BS standards, UK Regulations, and Codes.
Prioritization and deadline management skills.
Managerial and presentation skills.
Background in consulting or construction preferred.
Understanding of international business operations and ethics principles.
