£55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits + Profit share scheme + WFH 3x week

Do you have at least 10 years of experience working in Building Services
Engineering in the UK? Have you worked on a broad range of technical projects
(eg. laboratories, hospitals, data centers, etc)? Are you a Chartered Engineer or
working towards chartership? If you tick these boxes, then this may be an
opportunity for you.

The Company

This company was founded in 1972 and has developed as a customer-focused
practice. They have controlled growth at a sustainable level so they can provide
their client, of whatever size, with a personal service. This approach has resulted
in long-term relationships with occupiers, investors, and developers.

Most of the engineers have a background working for contractors before moving
into design consultancy. This provides the practice with skilled engineers who
have the experience to provide practical, buildable designs and a good
understanding of site safety issues.

To complement the skills of the engineering staff, they use design software for
mechanical, electrical, and lighting design and for thermal modeling. They also
use AutoCAD for 2D drawing and Revit MEP for 3D drawing and design, with a
team ensuring that they are BIM-ready.

The Position

Are you a motivated Engineer who has the drive and ambition to design and
manage your own projects?

As a growing, medium-sized consultancy, they are looking for someone to match
their commitment to a wide variety of projects, in type, size, and complexity, with
an emphasis on sustainable, low-carbon design.

They offer an excellent remuneration package including competitive salary,
performance bonus, pension with employer contribution, life insurance and
training support.

FYI: Being an employee-owned business, they operate a profit share scheme for
all employees, every year, so you can also get a piece of the pie!

Your main responsibilities will be the design and specification of building services
engineering installations as well as surveying, and working with other members of
the design team, quality inspections, and report writing.

As a company, they encourage individuality within a team environment and
actively support career development to Chartered Engineer status. This is an
opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take their career to
Associate, and beyond!

Are you a self-motivated person, who thrives as part of a team?

How are your communication skills?
