The Position
Due to continued growth, this company has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and driven Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support the MEP Projects/Building Services team.
This company is different because they understand mechanical and electrical engineering as part of the whole building consultancy picture. The team of M&E engineers combines specialist knowledge with a practical approach, a commercial outlook and the multi-disciplinary support of the wider team.
You will join a leading international, independent real estate consultancy who work on all different sized projects within a variety of sectors.
You will be part of a collaborative team working to create a more sustainable built environment whilst taking a hands-on approach.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop the design standards across the team and mentor graduates, junior engineers etc
· Ability to technically lead projects supporting the project, resource and financial management.
· Able to support the production of Client briefs / Fee Proposals, technical design proposals, cost advice, design reviews, outline and scheme design reports, detailed designs, specifications, value engineering.
· To work closely with the MEP Operational Engineering team providing technical mechanical input and support.
· Working as part of a dynamic team, you will interface with the internal Project Management and Surveying teams.
· Act as a focal point for technical development and control
