This company was formed in 1954 and the foundations laid down were to provide innovative design, quality service and response to the needs of their clients. Since inception, they have successfully developed and still maintain long term relationships with clients.

Fun fact: This company forms long-lasting relationships to the extent, that one of our first clients in 1954 remains a client to this day!

Over the last 68 years, there have been substantial changes within the industry and the practice has expanded its skills to provide for the changes in the construction process and the buildings they service. They are continually improving their skills, technical support and capabilities to enable them to grow with their clients. They recognise that to go forward for the next 60 years, they must continue to evolve – a good thing if you’re someone who wants to continually grow.

The Position
This company is looking to expand their design team and they are wanting a fully experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer who is ambitious, able to demonstrate experience in a wide range of project types and systems and who is familiar with industry standards. You should possess a good commercial awareness and technical knowledge relevant to building services design, and be capable of incorporating those technologies into any project.

You will be expected to have the ability to run medium sized projects and have the skills and experience to undertake a client facing role in the development, design and co-ordination of engineering projects. You should also be competent in the use of Industry design and drawing software.

The main job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·       Establishing and developing the design of Engineering solutions and systems

·       Preparing concept plans and briefs for projects

·       Producing reports in support of the design concepts with regard to compliance with standards and best practice

·       Inspecting installations and reviewing progress quality and performance tests

·       Participating in client and project meetings

·       Reporting to clients on progress and project related items
