This is an independent Engineering Consultancy practicing within the Energy and Building Services Engineering sectors of the built environment. They enjoy working on challenging and interesting projects with courageous clients and work with all parties to achieve the solution most aligned with the client’s needs. They have a portfolio of projects that include commercial offices, multi-residential, high-end residential, mixed-use, and education.
The team is expanding and the company is looking for proactive, team players who want to progress. For this role, you will report to the Project manager for the current project on a day-to-day basis as well as the Principal Mechanical Engineer. You will be responsible for the design of mechanical services systems and use design software to prepare calculations and designs. Additionally, you will need to prep the specification and equipment schedules as well as the marking up of drawings. You will also need to use AutoCAD to prepare drawings for external use and use Revit software to prepare 3D models and BIM information.
It is also important that you ensure technical and professional accuracy of your project work and have good judgment on project-related decisions and problem-solving attributes.
