The Company

This consultancy, specializing in mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineering, has been around for over 30 years and during that time, they have won numerous awards for their outstanding work. They operate in various sectors; however, their fields of expertise are resilient engineering, mission-critical projects, and corporate fit-out.

They have a number of offices across the UK and they have imminent plans to continue growing into 2023 and beyond. The current engineering team consists of 15 engineers but there are plans to expand the team to 25 over the next 12 months. And this is where you come in.

The Position

Due to the expansion, there will be an opportunity to grow within in business and climb the proverbial ladder i.e., you will be able to grow into a Principal position and higher. This company believes in investing in their employees and they offer invaluable support and training so it comes as no surprise that there is strong employee loyalty and an extremely high employee retention rate.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for taking lead on projects, liaising with clients, and holding design team meetings. In addition, you will produce designs, drawings, and calculations.
